Boeing, Bosch, General Mills & Nestle share how they are using the Industrial Internet to enable Smart Factories.
As the Industrial Internet revolution advances to the manufacturing floor, the race is on. The world of traditional manufacturing is fusing with digital manufacturing, and technological advancements are making factories, smarter, safer and “greener” than ever before. A global race to deploy this Industrial “Internet of Things” is underway.
The Industrial Internet Consortium Members are leading the industry through collaboration with Industry 4.0, China 2020, Factories of the Future, the I3C Initiative, and liaisons with standards organizations helping to propel things forward. We’re bringing IIoT solutions to the test track via over 20 testbeds, many of which are focused on manufacturing. IIC testbeds are spearheaded by IoT architects and specialists from Bosch, Tech Mahindra, National Instruments, Cisco, SAP, Dell-EMC, Intel, PTC and GE, with numerous other organizations providing performance-boosting thought leadership and high-octane output.
What you can expect: Guest speakers Boeing, Bosch, Nestle, & General Mills will share how they are using the Industrial Internet to enable smart factories. An expert panel comprised of IIC Security Framework editors will lead a discussion on securing Industrial Internet systems in manufacturing.
